Reading Gloria's Statements on the Glorietta Bombing
There had been calls to let the investigators do their job and avoid speculating now. But we know how the PNP Crime Lab works, (remember Jose Pidal's specimen signatures?) I'm not stupid enough to trust them. 18 hrs. into the investigation and they still can't identify the bomb type! It would be difficult to pin it on Muslim rebs because all evidence right now point to C4, a bomb available only to the AFP.
I had also wanted to keep an open mind, but I cannot think of any other group that would have benefited the most from it (the bombing) except Gloriaetta herself and her minions. Jemaah Islamiya bombers target only Westerners and their interests. The MILF is seating comfortably in the peace negotiation tables. Abu Sayyaf, they move only when the AFP allows them to. The reds do not have C4. Military adventurists? Of course not. Their enemy is well into the process of disintegration already, why alter the scenario? Only one suspect left.
No single person in the country today has innards built the way Gloriaetta’s are. What’s another 8 dead Pinoys today when we average 140 a year? The year’s almost over and we’ve not even hit a hundred? Has she lost her touch?
Ellen has posted it, that part of Gloria’s message, and the link to the full message, too, which part I repeat here:
“I warn those who seek to destabilize our government not to exploit this incident for their selfish political motives.”
Read between the lines. The message was explicit against her opponents in politics but was silent against the perpetrators of this dastardly act. READ AGAIN! This time follow the link for the full speech. Did she ever condemn the supposed bombers? But she did warn her political enemies, didn’t she?
The subconscious mind gave her away again. She cannot denounce the bombers because they belong to her cabal.

It seemed ages ago when in 2005 I posted the following in PCIJ’s Blogpost No. 350 (entitled Did the rule of law really prevail?):
“foresight” is the name of the game…and malacañang has plenty of it. as apparent in their preemptive strikes, to name some:
- administration allies’ filing of protests/charges on various issues against the presidentiables FPJ (nationality), Roco (graft), Lacson (drugs), etc. (before the May 2004 elections)
- the “fielding-in” of EDDIE gil as a presidentiable (to preempt bro. EDDIE’s candidacy)
- operator’s manufacture of election summaries (ERs, SOVs or COCs) to favor GMA (before the congressional canvassing)
- congress “dawn” proclamation of GMA as winner in the 2004 election (before entertaining FPJ camp’s objections/protests)
- switching of election summaries (ERs, SOVs or COCs) safely kept in congress to really show GMA’s more-than-a-million lead in the 2004 election [before the PET (the Supreme Court) orders the reopening of the ballot boxes]
- bunye’s release of the “hello, garci” tapes (before sammy ong did)
- “softly-touching” or perhaps really blackmailing and/or bribing witnesses/“whistle-blowers” (before they cause extensive weakness to GMA’s stronghold to power)
- GMA’s request for cabinet members’ resignation (before the “hyatt 10” did their act)
- JDV and FVR’s rally behind GMA’s skirt (before cory & co. could topple the government by forcing GMA to resign)
- allowing Gil “yes, ma’am” Garci to escape (before he is brought to congress – even just to answer “no, your honors” to all allegations)
- unlawful raids/searches done by law-enforcement agents to private (but known anti-arroyo individuals) properties (to preempt other individuals from stimulating anti-arroyo sentiments or obtaining evidences unfavorable to the arroyo administration)
- GMA’s declaration of nonsense holidays (to preempt rallies/strikes and to preempt pro-impeachment congressmen to gather together the much-sought after 79 signatures)
- Marcoleta’s endorsement of the Lozano impeachment complaint (before a substantial complaint could be mounted by the opposition)
- administration allies’ “kill-the-impeachment” stance (before GMA will face UN officials, meeting them straight-faced and unblemished)
- national security advisory/warning of possible “terror” attacks (terrorizing in effect would-be protesters before they could amass)
- lawmen’s “disperse-while-few” attitude towards rallyists/strikers (before a full-blown People Power will develop)
i’m not saying foresight is better than hindsight…but considering GMA’s wins in the aforementioned “battles” we should certainly need a heightened vigilance to what GMA and her cohorts are staging. anticipation of GMA’s moves may mean a big difference in this war.
we should likewise encourage our truth-seeker leaders to continue our fight despite the odds. it’s an uphill climb towards the TRUTH…so steep but we shouldn’t let go…for if we do, even just slacken our grip, we will surely die. as the saying goes “when the going gets tough…”

‘Twas The Art of Preemption edified by the Palace occupant that cements her to her beloved throne. The Art of Preemption even glorified to the extreme…as exemplified further by the Declaration of State of (Non-)Emergency to the State, the Invocation of E.O. (read: ee-Yahoo) 464, the Response Preemptively Calibrated, the Privilege Executively Employed, the Repeat of the (In)Famous Lozano-Marcoleta Caper (albeit with a different face – the Polished St. Louis one), etcetera, etcetera…
If ever the ones who are now wielding power don’t have blood in their hands in this latest Glorietta explosive incident (as the gloria-lovers are wont to think), why weren’t they able to REPEAT the Tacurong market bomb attack prevention* (which happened 2 days earlier than Glorietta) knowing fully well that gloria and her minions have perfected The Art of Preemption?
Or was this Glorietta explosive incident, in truth and in fact, used to preempt the scandalous-to-the-government headlines for the past several weeks (as gloria-haters…like myself…are wont to think)?

The standard line of a presidential address after an attack goes like this:
1. Explains what happened
2. Names the effects
3. Condemns the perpetrators
4. Enumerates the actions being undertaken.
5. Calls for vigilance and unity
Gloria did all except #3. Instead, she warns her political foes not to ride on the issue.
That slip is a very glaring one. It even reinforces suspicion she has direct knowledge of the event, or had a direct hand in it.
Whoever says there's no proof it was done to divert attention from her latest scandals, read her statement again.
She hates her foes a lot more than she hates the bombers.
She shoulde've ended her address with: "Thank you, guys".

Yes, that one in Tacurong should've scared the shit out of Esperon, Razon, and Gloria they could have filled the streets with cops and soldiers. IF that was bombing WAS genuine. But then again, that act was necessary to "justify" Glorietta.
Didn't we hear Dolorfino the other day warn of a civil war? After all the laughter this dorky general generated with that statement, and now this, it wouldn't be far-fetched to hear him tomorrow saying, "I told you so".

That’s what happens when you use Intelligence Funds of the O.P. to grease even more the porky local legislators and executives...instead of using it mainly for whatever it's intended for -- Intelligence.

Rajah Sulayman Movement by texting a news team has owned up to the bombing, they are now demanding the release of their leader within 24 hrs. or they'll bomb another target. I'm almost sure there will be none.

I almost gave Gloriaetta the benefit of the doubt until you pointed out her appalling slip. Thanks for showing us how this girl really thinks.
Last I heard the RSM angle has not yet been verified. 3 days and still no closure. I doubt we'll have any.
If the person who did this doesn't want her identity revealed -- or worse yet, if the person who did this is actually manipulating the investigation -- then we will never get any closure on this.
I'm not ready to say it's gloria although she is the only person who stands to gain from this tragedy (the bribery issue, fake impeachment, zte, hellow garci have been banished from the front pases).
But almost everybody believes she is behind it. Taxi drivers, sidewalk vendors, etc. etc.
If she did not do it, she would be the proverbial boy who cried wolf.

Yeah, but I'm glad you found this before 2010 (better circumstances)! Re the slip: all the time what they had in mind was a way to stop all the Gloria-bashing in the news. She couldn't help lashing back at her opponents at the first opportunity so instead of condemning the bombers, she struck back during that speech.
Atat na atat, in other words, nabuking tuloy.
Re investigation: It looks like the purpose of the investigation is to prolong appeal of the incident to the news. Propaganda. Closure? Nah, there have never been any under this bogus regime.

When it is a bomb, they say it is an industrial disaster. When it is an industrial disaster from negligence, they call it a bomb. Depends on which story fits the conditions.
I am referring to the Superferry 14 fire. The MARINA investigation which ruled out a bomb was never presented in the Marine Board Hearings.
